I had my first test swim with the Aqua Sphere Kaiman goggles yesterday. I was using them at an indoor pool and the smoke lenses were certainly weird to put on. Now I know why blue or clear lenses were recommend if I was going to use them indoors.
Out of the box, they were easy to adjust and my Hydro Tracker fit nicely over the straps. I did not experience any leaking. The goggles were extremely comfortable and did not fog up over my 1 hour swim. There is significant optical distortion compared to my Sables, but it was a non-issue as it is pretty simple to raise the goggles up to double check my workout plan. In the open water, I expect the distortion will not be consequential for sighting buoys or landmarks.
Overall, I am impressed with the fit and construction of the goggles and am looking forward to trying them in the open water.
