This weekend I got out and joined the Arvada Triathlon Club
for a portion of the Lark Half course.
This was a low key event held on the Ralston Creek Trail. Distances were marked to allow runners to run
any distance they chose.
I was feeling pretty good and keeping an easy pace, but
decided to turn around at just over 3.5 miles.
I was running by myself on the way back, but still managed to keep up a
pretty decent pace. I was very surprised
at how busy the Ralston Creek Trail was at 7:30 on a Saturday morning. It is a definite perk to live in an active
healthy community.
One of the club members lives just off the Ralston Creek
trail and was kind enough to set up an aid station with water, Gatorade and
even flat coke.
