I finally convinced myself (and then my boss) to start standing at work instead of sitting all day. I have heard all of the reports that claim "sitting is the new smoking" alongside similar claims about sugar and any other host of items. However, I can confirm that the body adapts to its environment and I would rather not reinforce the sitting all day adaptation.
So far this morning, I have been standing about half the day and I would like to see that ramp up to 75% of the day. Hopefully, my posture will thank me.
