Fall Television

Well I am officially immersed in fall television. Last fall my television viewing jumped from 10 hours per week to 15 hours per week. I don’t expect this year to be any different.

My favorite show is still “Sons of Anarchy.” The gritty FX drama is well acted and has an intricate story line that I have been engrossed in since the first season.

I also continue to watch “House.” The writing kind of jumped the shark last year, but this year it has opened more delicately.

I am also a big fan of crime and courtroom dramas. The networks have continued to deliver on this overdone theme with “Detroit 187” and “Law & Order: Las Angeles.” I am not sure how much time I will commit to television, but I cannot incorporate the new dramas without letting go of some of the CSI: installments, Numb3rs and or Criminal Minds.

I also continue to watch television series via Netflix and pastime with “Californication” and “Breaking Bad.”

I think the limiting factor will be the capacity of my Tivo. If I just can’t let go, I might find myself loading up a hard drive with dramas for next summer.
