The family and I had an exciting week with several social opportunities.
On Monday, my wife and I enjoyed seeing Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in concert at the Pepsi Center. After 12 years of marriage, it was the first concert we attended together. We were fortunate to be joined by another couple while the kids played at home.
On Wednesday, we had the opportunity to see the Rockies face the Mets at Coors Field. Our family and the neighbor's family got a block of 8 seats and had a great time. As it was a work night, we only managed 5 innings, but it was still nice to be out at the ballpark.
On Thursday, we headed out East to a get together with some of my wife's colleagues. The kids had fun and I got to visit with some new and old faces.
By the time the weekend hit, we were still out and about. We tried Sano's for the first time and were very impressed with the food. It was a little price, but still a nice place to go for Italian food on occasion. Saturday night we joined another couple for the movies and I was surprised by an unexpected gem, "The Big Sick." It was really entertaining and the food at Cinebarre in Louisville was better than expected. I enjoyed my Korean BBQ Turkey Burger.
While it may sound hectic, it was actually a lot of fun.
