The small garden in the front yard has never been a bright spot on the property, but it has certainly looked better. With mulch on sale for $2 per 1.5 cubic foot bag, I decided to take on a small project. Shoveling out the old mulch took a little over 40 minutes. I gathered up 3 trash bags full of bark mulch to be thrown away. The new mulch went down quickly and everything was smoothed out within an 20 minutes. For an hour plus $30 in material, it seems like something I should be doing every season.
