As you can infer from the title, the Garmin Forerunner 305 is the Coolest Toy EVER! Without reading the manual too well, I was able to get started without any problems. I received instantaneous speed and distance feedback which was my primary reason for purchasing the unit. I could also see heart rate as a smaller field. Back at the PC, I was even more thrilled as I could see my run on the Google maps. I could also review the elevation, speed and heart rate profile.
