2013 March Goal – No Sweets after 5PM


January’s goal was to have a non-bagel breakfast 2X per week.  Out of 30 recorded breakfasts in January, I only had 16 bagels so that was a great step in the right direction.  In February of 27 recorded breakfasts, I have eaten 13 bagels so I am still on track.

February’s goal was to have a juice replacement meal 2X per week.  So far, I have only eaten solid food meals in February and of the 3 juice drinks I purchased, my wife drank two and one is still in the refrigerator.

March’s goal is no sweets after 5:00 PM.  This one will be tough.  I am a junk food junkie.  The only saving grace is that my 5 year old recently saw a play at school about healthy lifestyle choices.  These include 1 hour of exercise per day, 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day, limited sugary snacks, and less than 2 hours of television per day.  I am sure there was a sleep one in there as well.  The key is to go one day at a time starting with Monday March 1st.
