My wife turned 40 this weekend and we used the occasion as
an excuse to round up some of her friends and head out dancing at the Electric
Cowboy. The place has a friendly staff
and a diverse crowd. We were some of the
oldest people in the place, but did not feel out of place.
The room is laid out with a front, back and center bar along
with 2 beer troughs. The dance floor is
in the center with several 10 top and smaller tables around the dance
floor. The music as expected was mostly
country, with some retro dance music and current hits mixed in. Line dancing is de rigueur, but we did manage
a little two stepping and carved out a pocket to dance as a group as well. That is one big perk about going out with a
crew 20 deep.
