We spent the day at the Arvada Harvest Festival. Thanks to my new book "How to Shoot Video That Doesn't Suck" by Steve Stockman, I can barely stomach watching the videos I have shot in the past. They still serve the purpose of archiving my daughter's childhood. That is why we got the JVC Everio to begin with. However, a few simple steps by reading the first half of the book have made a huge difference.
I am now itching to upgrade from CyberLink's PowerDirector 3 demo version which came with the camera to PowerDirector 12 which will not only turn on some great features, but also support iPhone video and GoPro video (that is another tidbit on my current wish list).
Thanks to the City of Arvada for putting on a great event.
