I don't feel like I have been that busy, but February came and went with a flash. The Bronco's won Superbowl 50. My 8 year old graduated from the Children's Music Academy piano program. My now 7 year old celebrated her birthday with a party at the Apex, followed by guests at the house, followed by a pottery party the next day (a little over the top if you ask me). I was in Tucson for week for Reliability training and did not visit Tombstone, go to a Cactus league game or even go for a hike in the off season training capital of the U.S. I did get a couple of workouts in and started the CrossFit Open Competition at Old Pueblo CrossFit.
I only swam 10,000 yards, biked 50 miles on the trainer, and logged a 3.2 mile run during which I tweaked my right calf. I did get to yoga 7 times and did 9 CrossFit workouts.
I tested the calf today and it felt great. March will hold the next 4 CrossFit Open workouts. After 16.1, I am 9,432nd out of 9,977 Master's Men 45-49. After that I will take a couple of weeks off and training for the multi-sport season will launch in earnest.
