Kewalkrishan M. Gupta passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on July 10, 2021 in Germantown, Tennessee.
Kewal immigrated from India to pursue his master’s degree at North Carolina State University and proudly worked for Acme Markets and Federal Express Corporation. Kewal and Rama were married for 52 years and enjoyed playing cards, traveling and entertaining. Kewal was an avid tennis, bridge and poker player, and collector of United States, world, and ancient coins.
Kewal cherished his family and friends and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He sought spirituality and studied philosophy with the Sanskaar Sunday Class extended family. He had a curious mind that was sharp his entire life. He will always be remembered for his kind words and ability to converse on almost any topic.
Kewal is survived by his wife, Rama; children, Sanjiv, Priya and Simi; their spouses, Ratna, Vikram, and Danny; and grandchildren, Rohan, Ishan, Diya, Nisha and Kaden.
A memorial service is scheduled for July 15, 2021 at 10am at the Family Funeral Care. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to www.porterleath.org or your local children’s charity.
